New Delhi: Sharing the instructions to be used of its 2-DG (2-deoxy-D-glucose) drug to the Covid-19 sufferers as per approval of the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Tuesday stated the medication could be given underneath the docs’ care and prescription.
“The 2DG medicine can be given to Covid-19 patients under the care and prescription of doctors. Directions for usage of this drug for Covid-19 patients as per DCGI approval are attached here for reference. Below the instructions shared by the DRDO for utilization of the 2DG drug developed by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences:
