Bhopal: As the nation continues to battle the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pragya Thakur has claimed cow urine can treatment lung an infection brought on by Coronavirus, including she is protected against the virus as she takes cow urine every single day.
“If we have desi gau mutra (urine from an indigenous cow) every day then it cures lung infection from Covid. I am in deep pain but I take cow urine every day. So, now I don’t have to take any medicine against corona and I don’t have corona,” she instructed a celebration gathering.
Thakur, who’s the BJP MP from Bhopal, added “cow urine is a life-saver”.
Enumerating the varied well being advantages of the cow and cow merchandise, the BJP chief had earlier in 2019 claimed that a mixture of cow urine and different cow merchandise had cured her most cancers.

Taking a jibe at her assertion, Azad Samaj Party spokesperson Suraj Kumar Bauddh in a tweet stated: Twice Born Merit…Sadhvi Pragya Thakur says; “Cow urine cures lung infection, I take it so I didn’t get coronavirus.”
Thakur’s remarks come even because the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has categorically said there is no such thing as a scientific proof that cow dung or urine helps with the therapy or prevention of Covid-19.
Moreover, the docs in Gujarat had not too long ago warned towards many individuals within the state resorting to ‘cow-dung therapy’ to deal with coronavirus and said that such a remedy could actually trigger different injections comparable to mucormycosis or black fungus.
