The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took to Twitter on Friday to publish an image of his new child twins after sharing the information of him turning into a father on Thursday night.
The Crown Prince of Dubai shared an image of him holding his twins whereas seated on a settee, wearing a white kandoura.
Earlier on Thursday, Sheikh Hamdan took to Instagram to publish a picture suggesting he and his spouse, Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, have welcomed a woman and a boy.
The publish has to this point garnered over 200,000 likes and is being flooded with congratulatory messages by household, mates and native social media influencers – and being shared extensively by Dubai royals on Instagram.
A Government of Dubai Media Office official confirmed the infants’ names to Khaleej Times, Sheikha bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum and Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
In Arabic, Sheikha means ‘princess’, whereas Rashid means ‘rightly guided’.
