6.1 magnitude earthquake tremor has been felt in Delhi-NCR on Friday on the Richter scale at around 10.34 pm. Apart from Delhi, earthquake tremors have also been felt in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. The tremors were felt for about 20 to 30 seconds. However, there are no immediate reports of loss to lives or property so far.
According to the National Center for Seismology, 6.1 intensity tremors have been felt in Amritsar, Punjab. While 6.3 magnitude tremors were felt in Tajikistan at 10.31 pm today.Â
“Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s safety,” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
