Amaravati: Eight folks have been killed and 7 others injured on Sunday (March 28) when the tempo in which they have been travelling hit a stationary lorry in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, police mentioned.
The victims from Tamil Nadu have been on their approach again residence after a pilgrimage to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh when the mishap occurred, the police mentioned.
Seven died on the spot whereas one other died whereas being shifted to a hospital, they mentioned.
Police suspect a thick fog might need brought about the mishap.
