New Delhi: As the continuing protest towards the three contentious agri legal guidelines handed by the Centre final 12 months entered 100th day, agitating farmers on Saturday blocked the six-lane Kundli Manesar Palwal (KMP) expressway at some locations in Haryana to mark the event. As per the announcement made by farmers’ unions, protest started at 11 am and continued until 4 pm.

The name for blocking the expressway was given by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, an umbrella physique of protesting farmer unions spearheading the agitation towards the agriculture-related legislations.

The 136-km Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway is often known as the western peripheral expressway.
