Delegates from Switzerland and the U.S., who might be collaborating in a G20 meeting on well being in Goa subsequent week, arrived in the State on Saturday, an official mentioned.
This is a primary group of international delegates arriving in Goa for the three-day Second Health Working Group G20 Meeting commencing from April 17, he mentioned.
Seven delegates from Switzerland and two from the U.S. arrived on the Dabolim international airport early this morning, a senior authorities spokesperson mentioned.
The delegates have been welcomed with a musical efficiency and escorted to a reserved lounge by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and designated officers on the airport, he mentioned.
“A colourful rangoli was drawn at the arrival gate to welcome the delegates. They were then taken outside the airport on a red carpet and transported to the venue near Panaji,” he mentioned.
Delegates from different international locations are anticipated to reach in the State over the following couple of days both on the Dabolim airport or the newly-opened Manohar International Airport at Mopa.
The spokesperson mentioned that the airports have made preparations and brought obligatory steps to make sure that the method of delegates’ arrival is easy. Additionally, providers comparable to cash trade counters and SIM card counters have additionally been made out there on the airports.
