Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to take part within the first ever ‘Quadrilateral Security Dialogue’, also called the Quad leaders’ digital summit scheduled for March 12 with prime leaders of the US, Japan and Australia in a bid to additional develop cooperation within the Indo-Pacific amid rising world considerations over China’s rising assertiveness within the area.

The centre in a launch stated that the 4 leaders will focus on regional and world problems with shared curiosity, and change views on sensible areas of cooperation in the direction of sustaining a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific area.
The leaders may even focus on the continued efforts to fight Covid-19 pandemic and discover alternatives for collaboration in guaranteeing secure, equitable and reasonably priced vaccines within the Indo-Pacific area.
“The Summit will provide an opportunity to exchange views on contemporary challenges such as resilient supply chains, emerging and critical technologies, maritime security, and climate change,” the assertion added.
Ahead of the assembly, PM Modi on Monday held a telephonic dialog with Yoshihide, after which, the Indian chief expressed satisfaction on the constructive momentum in India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
“Had a fruitful dialog with PM Suga Yoshihide on the progress of India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership.” PM Modi stated in a Tweet.
The two leaders mentioned deepening collaboration bilaterally in addition to beneath the Quad framework to boost cooperation within the Indo-Pacific area.
