A girl had approached Chembur Police on April 21 with the grievance that her 80-year-old sister and her son had gone lacking from the Chembur space since April 5
Mumbai police have rescued an 80-year-old lady and arrested 5 individuals for allegedly murdering her son and holding her captive for grabbing her property, an official mentioned on Wednesday.
The foremost accused within the case was a detailed relative of the girl, he mentioned.
Officials of Chembur police station on Tuesday night rescued the girl from a flat in suburban Powai.
A girl had approached Chembur Police on April 21 with the grievance that her 80-year-old sister Rohini Kamble and her son Vishal Kamble (44) had gone lacking from the Chembur space since April 5.
Police first traced two males who had contacted Vishal final, and picked them up from Wadala and Powai areas, the official mentioned.
During interrogation they admitted that they’d killed Vishal on April 5 itself and stored his mom captive in a flat in Powai, he mentioned.
The foremost accused had given the opposite 4 the contract to kill Vishal to take over his and his mom’s property and promote it off, the official mentioned.
The mother-son duo have been referred to as to Panvel on the pretext of a property deal and from there they have been kidnapped, he mentioned.
The lady was given sedatives whereas she was stored captive contained in the flat, he mentioned.
The accused had cast paperwork to unload her property, the official mentioned.
It was not clear how Vishal was killed, he mentioned, including that additional probe was on.
