Five individuals of a family died after their car fell off a bridge at Sikatiya barrage in Jharkhand’s Deoghar, mentioned officers on Tuesday. The accident passed off when their automobile was crossing the Siktia barrage, they added.
“The accident happened after a family member, an engineer by profession, started driving the vehicle to take selfies and lost control over the SUV,” the police mentioned.
Deoghar Superintendent of Police Ajit Peter Dungdung mentioned 5 members of a family had been killed when their car fell off the bridge into the barrage whereas the driving force of the SUV was injured.
The automobile was on its approach to Giridih from Asansol Sankul village in Sarath, Deoghar, he added.
