E-commerce firm Flipkart on Sunday launched its unified funds interface (UPI) providers for on-line and offline funds. The Flipkart UPI, launched in partnership with Axis Bank, will initially be out there for Android customers, based on an organization assertion.
The transfer will enable Flipkart, which claims to have greater than 50 crore registered customers and 14 lakh sellers on its market, to scale back dependence on third-party UPI apps similar to Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay and Amazon Pay.
“Recognising the dynamic digital landscape, the launch of Flipkart UPI seamlessly merges the convenience and cost-effectiveness of UPI with the trusted efficiency customers expect from us,” Dheeraj Aneja, Senior Vice President, Fintech and Payments Group at Flipkart, mentioned within the assertion.
Loyalty options similar to Supercoins, cashback, milestone advantages and model vouchers might be made out there after the UPI launch, it added.
Customers can create a UPI ID on the Flipkart app to make funds to each retailers and people and likewise pay payments with out switching apps.
