Foreign tour operators being invited for ‘experience-based tourism’ in Rajasthan

With the Congress authorities in Rajasthan selling “experience-based tourism”, overseas tour operators are being invited to the State for becoming a member of the themes of heritage walks, nature walks and meals trails, which is able to appeal to a lot of vacationers. A promotional worldwide mart to be organised in Jaipur this month, may also unveil the potential of tourism merchandise.

State Tourism Director Rashmi Sharma stated right here on Friday that the experience-based tourism would generate employment alternatives in the agricultural areas and promote handicraft objects, home buying, people music, arts and village tradition. The desert safaris and nature walks would assist spotlight the State on the nation’s tourism map, Ms. Sharma stated.

The twelfth version of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar to be held right here from April 23 to 25, will provide new tourism alternatives and sights to tour operators coming from totally different international locations. The promotional mart is being organised after a spot of three years, when it was halted through the COVID-19 pandemic.

New insurance policies in the tourism sector— together with the agricultural tourism coverage, movie tourism promotion coverage and the eco-tourism coverage— shall be publicised through the mart, whereas the advantages given to heritage motels and the distinctive experiential packages for the travellers, may also be on show through the mega occasion.
