Indian sailors, the primary representatives from the nation to succeed in Tokyo, arrange their boats for sail and had their first coaching session on the Enoshima Yacht Harbor, the venue for Olympic Games crusing competitors, on Thursday. Four sailors — Nethra Kumanan and Vishnu Saravanan (laser class), KC Ganapathy and Varun Thakkar (49er class) — reached Tokyo from their coaching bases in Europe and bought into coaching on Thursday. Their boats had reached the Japanese capital a couple of days in the past and the sailors needed to set them up after amassing them from the authorities involved.

While the sailors went about their coaching session, Indian officers, led by Chef de Mission B.P. Baishya, and contingent physician Dr. Arun Basil, are getting ready to obtain the primary group of athletes reaching there from India.

The first batch of 90 Indian athletes and officers will go away India on July 17 and attain Japan the subsequent day morning.
