Four inmates of Anbu Jothi Ashram at Kundalapuliyur in Villupuram district who had been rescued and shifted to a Government recognised house at Pudupalayam in Cuddalore district escaped from the power on Tuesday evening.
Police stated they escaped by breaking open a door on the primary flooring and utilizing bedsheets as ropes to climb out of the constructing. While one of the inmates was traced on the Thirupathiripuliyur railway station, the remaining proceed to be lacking and a search has been launched for them.
According to the police, as many as 23 inmates from Anbu Jothi Ashram had been shifted to 2 government-recognized properties at Manjakuppam and Pudupalayam within the district after the power was shut down. Of them 13 inmates had been accommodated on the house in Pudupalayam.
A employees of the house who went as much as the primary flooring on Wednesday morning was shocked to search out that 4 of the inmates had been lacking. He discovered that the again door was damaged, and bedsheets and blankets had been dangling from the primary flooring, police stated.
A police crew traced one of the inmates within hours and introduced him again to the power whereas a search has been launched for others. A case has been registered.
