Land-for-job scam case: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a recent summons to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav within the railway land-for-jobs scam case, asking him to appear on January 5 (Friday), official sources mentioned right this moment.

What are the allegations?

“The registered address of the company is D-1088, New Friends Colony, New Delhi, which is the house belonging to Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members,” the company had alleged.

“Several other lands were also acquired by Amit Katyal in the said company in return for giving undue favours by Lalu Prasad Yadav when he was minister of railways,” the company mentioned.

After buying the land, it mentioned, shares of the mentioned firm have been transferred to the members of the family of Lalu Prasad in 2014. The ED case, filed below the felony sections of the PMLA, stems from a criticism lodged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Prasad, his spouse Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav have been granted bail by a trial court docket in October after the CBI filed a chargesheet in opposition to them on this case.
