“If the series was in India, then I would have surely tried to play. You can come to the hospital if you need within 4-5 hours. But obviously, (from) South Africa it takes 2-3 days to come back.

“I personally think he has a lot to give to cricket. He can play for another 2-3 seasons. I have seen him bat in the nets. Obviously, he had an injury that anyone can have, people at 24 have that same injury that he has.
“He has recovered effectively. For me personally, he ought to play for an additional 2-3 years. (But) it is his name. He advised everybody he’s going to play his final sport in Chennai. I believe he’ll solely determine. For us, will probably be very tough to play for CSK with out him. Everyone has (at all times) seen CSK with Mahi bhai,” Chahar said. “He shouldn’t be taking it presently as a result of it’s the finish of his profession. He needs to be having fun with not taking duty and stress for the group. He has ready so many cricketers like Ravindra Jadeja and different gamers, those that can try this job, they’re good at it,” Chahar added.
