The Court additional stated, “Applicant’s further incarceration in the present case would bear no fruit and therefore would be unjustified, nor would the restoration of applicant’s liberty be detrimental to the investigation being conducted by the police authorities.”
Sidhu was arrested in February from Karnal in Haryana by the Delhi Police Special Cell within the case regarding the violence that passed off at Red Fort on January 26 through the farmers’ tractor rally.
Chaotic scenes have been witnessed on the Red Fort in Delhi through the farmers’ tractor parade as some miscreants clashed with the police. As violent scenes have been being reported from a number of components of Delhi, many protesters reached the Red Fort and entered the monument.
