Maharatna firm Gas Authority India Limited (GAIL) recorded a 28 per cent bounce in its revenue after tax for the fourth quarter of 2020-21, because it stood at Rs 1,908 crore. It was at RsĀ 1,487 crore within the third quarter of the earlier fiscal.
For the entire 12 months of 2020-21, the stand alone turnover, revenue earlier than tax and revenue after taxĀ stood at RsĀ 56,529 crore, RsĀ 6,386 crore and RsĀ 4,890 crore respectively.Ā
The consolidated group turnover for the 2020-21Ā stood at RsĀ 57,208 crore, revenue earlier than taxĀ wasĀ RsĀ 7,725 crore and revenue after taxĀ was RsĀ 6,136 crore.
The firm’s income for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 15,449 crore, whereas EBITDA (earnings with curiosity, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) was Rs 2,465 crore.
Chairman and Managing Director of GAIL, Manoj JainĀ stated that the operations of the plant and pipelines had beenĀ steady and no main shutdown befell throughout 2020-21.
During the 12 months, firm’s capex was RsĀ 6,982 crore primarily on pipelines, he added.Ā
