Gary Lineker won’t current the BBC’s FA Cup protection on Sunday after shedding his voice following his on-screen return.
The former England striker was restored to his presenting position for reside protection of Manchester City’s 6-0 thrashing of Burnley on Saturday, per week after being taken off air in an impartiality row.

“As viewers can have seen yesterday, Gary Lineker was scuffling with his voice and sadly it has deteriorated in a single day. Alex Scott will likely be internet hosting as a substitute.”
Former England women’s international Scott was one of the presenters who refused to work last weekend in support of Lineker.
