Ghaziabad society residents file complaint after being threatened for raising irregularities

Ghaziabad: Residents of a housing society in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad have filed a complaint towards the chairman of the upkeep committee after the latter allegedly threatened them for searching for info relating to the completion of the venture.

The members of AJPA Dronagiri Society, Sector 11, Vasundhara, had convened a gathering of the society on Sunday (March 7) to debate the completion of the venture, its facilities, completion certificates and standing of the society funds.

The residents alleged extreme monetary indiscipline within the society accounts which administration denied sharing with members regardless of many requests. They additionally claimed to have been denied the promised amenities within the society and have been threatened for raining the problem.

During the assembly, R D Sharma, chairman upkeep committee, and Anil Sharma, secretary, allegedly misbehaved with the residents. Sharma allegedly threatened that he already has a number of circumstances towards him and that he didn’t worry the administration or police.

Following this, the members approached the SHO, Indirapuram, to file a complaint towards Sharmas. The residents stated that they’re scared and apprehensive concerning the security of their households. 

They have additionally submitted their utility with UP RERA, DM of Ghaziabad, SSP Ghaziabad to look into the problem.
