Panaji: The Goa schooling board, which cancelled its Class 10 remaining exams this 12 months, has formulated a scheme for finalising the results of scholars based mostly on their inner evaluation carried out by colleges in the course of the tutorial 12 months and an goal criterion developed by the board.
The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’s (GBSHSE) govt committee met on Saturday and ready the scheme, which should be adopted by all the faculties affiliated with it.

The board has stated in view of the growing COVID-19 instances in Goa, the Class 10 examinations, which have been alleged to be held from May 13 to June 4 this 12 months, stand cancelled.
“The results of the Class tenth board will be prepared on the basis of the internal assessment conducted by schools and an objective criterion developed by the board,” it stated.
Any candidate who shouldn’t be glad with the marks allotted shall be given a possibility to look in an examination as and when circumstances are conducive to carry the examination, in line with the scheme.
“In cases where a school deliberately indulges in practices that are not consistent with fair, unbiased and objective practices of assessment, the board reserves the right to start de-recognition proceedings and/or impose a financial penalty against the school or decide not to declare the result of the class tenth for the school till the time it is not in conformity with the board’s policy,” it stated.
Schools affiliated with the Goa board have been requested to kind a outcome committee, comprising academics from their very own establishment and neighbouring colleges.
