New Delhi: In order to promote eco-friendly waterways transportation and cut back the visitors load of crowded Mumbai metropolis roads, the Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has deliberate more water taxis and RO-PAX ferries for town’s transportation.

Four new routes for ROPAX-ferry providers and 12 new routes of water taxi are seemingly to be operational by December 2021. The Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways said that opening up 4 new routes of ROPAX Ferries and 12 routes of water taxis goes to show an enormous boon for each day commuters of Mumbai as it’ll end in a pollution-free, peaceable and time-saving journey in addition to cut back the journey value and carbon footprint considerably.
