Vivo and Poco have introduced the extension of the product warranty on their gadgets, offering much-needed aid to prospects who haven’t been in a position to get their smartphones repaired as a result of lockdown in many states. Poco has prolonged the warranty of Poco branded smartphones by two months. On Wednesday (May 12), the Xiaomi-owned model stated that if any buyer’s smartphone warranty was expiring in May or June this 12 months, Poco has prolonged the merchandise’ warranty by two months.

Poco India additionally revealed that the corporate is cancelling all its launch occasions in May 2021, being attentive to the worsening COVID-19 disaster in India. “We are pausing our new launches as we hope for the situation to improve. Meanwhile, Vivo took to Twitter on Thursday (May 13) to announce the warranty extension for its prospects in lockdown affected areas throughout the nation. The BBK Electronics-owned smartphone model stated that the warranty of all merchandise is prolonged by 30 days in areas which were shut as a result of lockdowns. 

The extension will likely be calculated from the day when the corporate’s service centre reopens in respective cities. Vivo can be providing a free-of-cost handset pick-and-drop service for patrons. However, the supply of the service is dependent upon the prevailing situations.
