Govt announces DA hike for Central employees, extends Rs 300 subsidy on LPG cylinders under Ujjwala scheme

The Modi cupboard on Thursday introduced a rise in Dearness Allowance (DA) of Central authorities workers by 4 per cent.

The Cabinet has additionally accredited the continuation of the Rs 300 subsidy to PM Ujjwala Yojana shoppers until March 31, 2025. The complete expenditure for this shall be Rs 12,000 crores, Union Minister Piyush Goyal knowledgeable.
