New Delhi, May 12 (PTI): The authorities on Wednesday accredited the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for promoting battery storage at an estimated outlay of Rs 18,100 crore.
With the target to advertise the ‘Make in India’ initiative, National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage is predicted to draw funding of Rs 45,000 crore, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar advised reporters after the Cabinet assembly.
The proposal goals to attain a manufacturing capability of fifty Gigawatt Hour of ACC and 5 GWh of area of interest ACC, he stated.
It will promote inexperienced progress and use native merchandise like copper and bauxite to a big extent, he added.Â
