Gwalior accident: 13 killed in collision between bus and auto
At least 13 folks misplaced their lives after a collision between a bus and an auto in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Tuesday morning. The head-on collision came about in Purani Chhawani space.
According to police, the bus was on its approach to Morena when the mishap occurred.
The deceased included 12 girls and the driving force of the auto-rickshaw. While eight girls and the auto driver died on the spot, the others succumbed to their accidents in a hospital.
Gwalior SP Amit Sanghi stated that the accident occurred round 7 am when the ladies, who had been cooks at an ‘anganwadi kendra’ had been returning dwelling after work.
Meanwhile, the state authorities has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh every to the household of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to injured.
