Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was on Saturday ruled out of the continued World Cup after failing to recuperate from his ankle damage.

Pacer Prasidh Krishna, who has performed 17 ODIs, has been named Pandya’s substitute in the Indian squad, the ICC mentioned in a media launch.

Pandya had harm his left ankle whereas fielding of his personal bowling in the sport in opposition to Bangladesh in Pune on October 19.

He missed the next video games in opposition to New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka.
