Haryana Police registered a case towards 5 males for kidnapping and assaulting a Dalit youth at Bilaspur Police Station.

The sufferer was brutally thrashed after being kidnapped by 5 males for not voting in favour of one among them in final yr’s panchayat elections in Rathiwas village.

In his criticism, the Dalit youth mentioned two males from the village — Manish and Monu — approached him close to the village’s Hanuman Temple round 10 pm. “I refused to go with them but they forcibly took me to Rathi’s house, where Deepak and Kalia were also present,” the sufferer mentioned.
“Rathi and the others locked me inside a room and thrashed me with sticks. They also threatened to kill me and used casteist slurs,” he mentioned.
Later, pointing a pistol on the sufferer, Deepak requested why he did not vote for Rathi in the sarpanch election, in line with the criticism.
After the sufferer’s mother and father reached Rathi’s home, he was launched, it mentioned. “They allowed me to go with my parents who took me to a nearby hospital,” the sufferer mentioned.
After receiving details about the incident, a police workforce reached the hospital the place the youth was admitted.
