Haryana: Drones will now be used to monitor the illegal mining situation in Gurugram. This determination by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gurugram was taken at a overview assembly of the anti-mining activity power. 

Recently, the district administration acquired complaints with regard to illegal mining from Gurugram’s Rithoj village following which the administration has determined to use drone to preserve a vigil on illegal mining.

“With this initiative where the district administration will get instant information about the mining area through drones, the mining areas will be surveyed every month with drone cameras so that illegal mining cannot be done in mining potential areas under any circumstances,” Yadav stated.

The DC stated that wherever the mining division receives details about illegal mining and overloaded autos in the district, it takes rapid motion and registers an FIR in opposition to these concerned in illegal mining.

The Mining Department official knowledgeable in the assembly that it has imposed a effective of Rs 10.6 crore whereas taking motion in opposition to 43 autos concerned in illegal mining activities in Gurugram since April final yr.
