Haryana Public Service Commission defers exams scheduled in May

The Haryana Public Service Commission on Monday introduced to defer all examinations scheduled to be performed by it throughout the present month in view of the prevailing COVID-19 state of affairs, in accordance with an official order.

“It is for the overall data of all of the candidates that because of the prevailing situation brought on by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), well being consideration, and lockdown restrictions, the HPSC has determined to defer all of the examinations scheduled for May 21, 22, and 30,” as per an HPSC notification.

The new dates might be communicated by the fee later by way of its web site, it mentioned. “It will, nonetheless, be ensured that the candidates are given a discover of no less than 15 days earlier than rescheduling any deferred examination,” it additional mentioned.

Among the exams which have been deferred embrace the Haryana Civil Services (Ex Br) and different Allied Services, 2021, which was scheduled to be performed on May 30.

As a measure to regulate the unfold of COVID circumstances, the state authorities has imposed a weeklong lockdown in Haryana from May 3.
