New Delhi: A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped inside a village faculty in Haryana’s Rewari district by a gaggle of boys, who additionally filmed the act on their cellphones, police stated on Wednesday.
Barring one, all accused are minor, police stated.
They stated some of the accused filmed the act and circulated the video domestically, which reached the sufferer’s father, who lodged a criticism.
Police stated the college was closed because of the summer time holidays and kids, including the girl, had been enjoying there when the incident happened on May 24.
Seven minor boys and an 18-year-old had been concerned in the incident, Rewari’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Hansraj informed reporters.
An official on the police station stated whereas some of the accused have been booked on the rape cost, others are accused of making a video on their cellphones.
The minor boys accused in the incident are aged 10 to fifteen, she stated.
“The girl did not narrate the incident at home but when the video reached her father, he lodged a complaint on Tuesday and we immediately registered an FIR,” the DSP stated.
He stated the minors concerned in the act have been despatched to an statement dwelling whereas the 18-year-old accused has been arrested.
“The child was playing in the school compound close to her home. The accused took her inside and committed the crime,” the DSP stated, including additional investigation was underway.
