New Delhi: Union Health Minister Harsha Vardhan on Monday (April 19) took it to his Twitter to share his response to former PM Manmohan Singh’s letter on tackling the COVID-19 disaster addressed to PM Narendra Modi. 

Tweeting the previews of his response to ex-PM Manmohan Singh, the Union Minister stated that the historical past would be kinder to him (Manmohan Singh) if solely his personal social gathering had adopted his recommendation.

“It is saddening, Dr Singh, that while you very well understand the importance of vaccination as an important method of fighting COVID-19 battle, people in responsible position in your party as well as the state governments formed by your party do not seem to share your views,” wrote Harsha Vardhan in his reply.

Earlier, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi additionally chaired a meet of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) and accused the central authorities of “gross unpreparedness” and “adhocism” in battling COVID-19 disaster.
