Captain Rohit Sharma led from the shape as he made a superb 103 off 169 deliveries to propel India to a mammoth rating of 473/8 at the tip of play on the second day.
Team India asserted their will over the English facet at Dharamshala on Friday as the house facet led by 225 runs at Stumps on Day 2 of the fifth and last Test of the collection.

Boycott clarified stating, “Supporters of Rohit stop defending the indefensible he’s been a super batsman & is still good but nobody gets better after age 36, we all decline in fitness reactions speed of of thought endurance etc. doesn’t mean he can’t make runs but has to use all his experience to combat his age.”

India will start day three with Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah at the crease as they appear to pile on the lead earlier than England’s second innings.
