Mathura: Twenty quintals of ‘tesu’ flowers and 50 quintals of ‘gulal’ of assorted hues are stocked at Dauji temple in Baldeo area of Uttar Pradesh to have a good time a novel Holi performed by ‘bhabhis’ and ‘devars’ — sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. In the celebration, womenfolk representing ‘bhabhis’ and ‘brothers-in-law’ play what’s regionally referred to as ‘Huranga’. The girls lash the boys with moist cotton material.
