New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interplay with the Gamers has sparked a political slugfest amid the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Earlier on Saturday PM Modi interacted with 7 avid gamers and mentioned the assorted facets and improvement of the gaming trade.
During the half-an-hour-long interactive session, the avid gamers defined the PM with the gaming terminology and after they used the slang “noob”, Modi mentioned “If I say it (noob), you will assume it for a particular person.”
As the avid gamers defined that “noob” is a reference to somebody who’s a beginner or not very expert at a recreation, PM Modi chuckled and mentioned, “If I use this word during elections, people will wonder who am I referring to. If I say it, you will assume it for a particular person.”
While PM didn’t point out any identify, the reference triggered a political slugfest with Congress chief Pramod Tiwari slamming the prime minister over the comment.
“I don’t know who he is talking about but he is talking about an opposition member. Talking about someone who is educated at top universities… These are just political tactics of the BJP around the elections. This will backfire,” the Congress chief informed reporters.
BJP chief Shehzad Poonawalla took a swipe on the Congress, saying the response of the opposition celebration’s chief to Prime Minister Modi’s comment confirms who is definitely the “noob” in politics.
“PM Narendra Modi did not name anybody but why are Congress leaders reacting and confirming ‘ki Rajniti ka Noob kaun hai’ (who is the noob in politics),” he mentioned on X.
Bollywood actor and BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Kangana Ranaut posted a clip of PM Modi’s interplay with the avid gamers and requested, “Who is this Noob?”
BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh mentioned the whole nation is aware of who the most important “noob” is within the opposition.
“There are many princes and princesses within the (INDIA) alliance who have no idea something concerning the floor realities, don’t know concerning the issues of the nation, and don’t even know something concerning the nation. These leaders, who studied in five-star tradition and seven-star colleges and schools, have landed in helicopters.
