Aizawl: For the primary time, college students of state-run faculties in Mizoram began carrying a standard uniform with the brand new tutorial session starting on Wednesday, a senior official of the college schooling division stated. Specifications for the widespread uniform had been notified individually for main, center, highschool and better secondary faculties, director of the college schooling division, Lalsangliana stated.
State schooling minister Lalchhandama Ralte had earlier stated that the target of the introduction of the widespread uniform was to deliver equality between the wealthy and poor college students in each city and rural areas.
The college students of presidency faculties will now not require to purchase a brand new set of uniform when their mother and father are transferred to different locations, the minister had stated.
