There is transparency and assurance that advantages are transferred to all eligible residents, Sitharaman stated

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday stated 25 crore folks received freedom from multi-dimensional poverty within the final 10 years. Earlier method of tackling poverty by way of entitlement resulted in very modest outcomes, she stated whereas presenting the interim Budget within the Lok Sabha. There is transparency and assurance that advantages are transferred to all eligible residents, Sitharaman stated.

The National Education Policy is ushering transformational reforms, she added.
