The Income Tax division on Wednesday performed a survey operation at some entities of the Hinduja Group in Mumbai and another cities, official sources stated. The survey operation is being undertaken as half of a tax evasion investigation and places of work in Mumbai and another cities are being coated, they stated.

As per the I-T regulation for survey operations, solely workplace premises are being coated.
