NEW DELHI: India’s cyber safety company is investigating complaints of cell phone hacking by senior opposition politicians who reported receiving warning messages from Apple, Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated.
Vaishnaw was quoted within the Indian Express newspaper as saying on Thursday that CERT-In, the pc emergency response workforce based mostly in New Delhi, had began the probe, including that “Apple confirmed it has received the notice for investigation”.
A political aide to Vaishnaw and two officers within the federal dwelling ministry advised Reuters that each one the cyber safety issues raised by the politicians have been being scrutinised.
