India has administered 14 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine in simply 99 days, the quickest in the world, the Health Ministry stated on Saturday. More than 24 lakh vaccine doses have been administered on Saturday until 8 pm, the ministry stated.
The cumulative variety of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the nation stands at 14,08,02,794, based on a provisional report at 8 pm.
“India became the fastest country to administer 14 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine in just 99 days,” the ministry stated.Â
India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 30 lakh on August 23 last 12 months, 40 lakh on September 5 and 50 lakh on September 16. It went previous 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 90 lakh on November 20 and surpassed the one-crore mark on December 19.
