India records 40,715 COVID-19 infections in past 24 hours, Maharashtra, Punjab and Gujarat major cause of concern

NEW DELHI: The Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Tuesday stated that the nation recorded 40,715 infections in the final 24 hours, 13 per cent decrease than a day earlier than, taking the entire tally to 1,16,86,796 on March 23.

Besides this, India recorded the best single-day vaccination. More than 32.53 lakh doses got in the final 24 hours.
