India to open Asian Champions Trophy campaign against China on August 3

The Indian males’s hockey group will open its Asian Champions Trophy campaign against China on day one of many match, to be performed in Chennai from August 3 to 12.

Hosts India and China will face one another within the final match of the opening day of the match on the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium.

After China, India will play Japan on August 4. The hosts will then cross swords with Malaysia on August 6 adopted by the sport against Korea a day later, as per the schedule launched by the Asian Hockey Federation on Tuesday.

India will then take on arch-rivals Pakistan within the ultimate league stage match on August 9.

The six-team match will see South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan, China, and India battle it out for high honours. All the groups are a part of one pool and the positions on the factors desk will probably be determined by a league system.

Defending champions South Korea will conflict against Japan within the match opener.

The semifinals are scheduled for August 11 whereas the summit conflict will happen on August 12.

The Indian males’s hockey group (2011, 2016 & 2018) and Pakistan (2012, 2013 & 2018) have each received three titles every, and are essentially the most embellished nations within the historical past of the match.
