Indian Artists shine bright at the Inaugural Exhibition of ‘Art For Hope 2023’


Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) felicitated 25 artists & 10 artwork collectives at the inaugural exhibition of its ‘Art for Hope 2023’ program. All grantees acquired a cumulative grant of Rs. 40 Lakhs. The chosen entries included stone carvings, images, work, sculptures, installations, and combined media works that have been modern and thought-provoking. Along with offering a platform or the artists to raise their artwork practices by way of a monetary grant, the program can also be a catalyst for dialogue, collaboration and innovation by way of arts.

Art-works of grant winners showcased at the ‘Art For Hope’ festival

A ‘6-day exhibition’ christened the ‘Art for Hope’ competition to show various art-works of these proficient artists from completely different corners of India. The exhibition contains Visual, Digital, Performance & Folk and Traditional Art & Craft. The exhibition is inclusive and has been made accessible for individuals with disabilities, together with an audio-visual tour in signal language. Workshops on printmaking and conventional arts like Madhubani and Gond along with tie and dye, block printing, and panorama artwork are deliberate.
