Indian Racer Kush Maini Clinches Second Place Finish in F2 Saudi Arabia GP – News18


Indian racer Kush Maini completed a creditable second in the F2 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix after beginning the race from pole place right here on Sunday..

Maini, who’s showing for Invicta Racing, had earlier turn into the primary Indian to seize a pole in the Formula 2 race, which was gained by Enzo Fittipaldi from Van Amersfoort Racing with MP Motorsport’s Dennis Hauger ending third.

“It was a positive race, especially after yesterday where we really struggled, so I am really happy the team and I switched it around. We were really competitive,” Maini mentioned after the race.

“Obviously, Enzo was in a different league today so congratulations to him. I think I am happy with P2. We need to analyse a little bit more on where we can catch Enzo, but good (to get) points,” he added.

Maini mentioned the staff has been engaged on enhancing the automobile and the result of the race was a end result of their arduous work.

“Qualifying-wise, we know that we will be on the money. The car is great. We had a few doubts in the races but now that is cleared up. We can be competitive all throughout and I am looking forward to Melbourne,” Maini added.

Maini, who’s now positioned fifth in the championship with 27 factors, will race in Melbourne in the Round 3 of F2 from March 22-24.
