Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday mentioned the brand new National Education Policy is futuristic and as per international requirements. “India takes pride in being the mother of democracy as it’s values are embodied in our social life,” Modi mentioned addressing the Association of Indian Universities’ ninety fifth annual meet and a nationwide seminar of vice-chancellors through video convention.
The Centre unveiled the brand new National Education Policy (NEP) final 12 months. “The National Education Policy is futuristic and as per global parameters,” Modi mentioned.
He mentioned the position of expert youth is repeatedly growing as India walks the trail of ‘aatmanirbharta’ (self- reliance).
“Babasaheb Ambedkar has given a strong foundation for us to take forward all our democratic values after the independence,” Modi mentioned on the event of the start anniversary of Dr Ambedkar.
The city-based Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University hosted the occasion.
