IndiGo notifies passengers about flight cancellations in connection with G20 Summit 2023 in Delhi

IndiGo flights-G20 Summit: IndiGo airways at the moment (September 6) stated that every one the passengers have been notified about flight cancellations on the Delhi airport in connection with G20 Summit 2023.

“Due to the G20 Summit 2023 taking place in New Delhi, IndiGo is offering one-time waivers for passengers travelling to and from Delhi between September 8 to 11, 2023,” the airline stated in an announcement.

It didn’t present particulars about the variety of flights which might be prone to be affected. G20 Summit can be held in the nationwide capital on September 9 and 10.

“Customers are being offered the option of rescheduling or cancelling their flights with refunds. Passengers have been notified about flight cancellations and to schedule changes in advance,” the assertion stated.

Flights affected because of G20 Summit in Delhi

Scores of flights are prone to be affected on the Delhi airport and airways are providing waiver of fees for purchasers planning to reschedule their journey dates.

On Tuesday (September 5), officers in the know stated airways are making changes to their flight operations and choose flights are being cancelled or rescheduled. One of the officers stated that round 120 flights are prone to be impacted throughout the September 8-10 interval.

The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), operated by DIAL, in the nationwide capital is the nation’s largest airport and handles round 1,300 flights each day. On August 26, DIAL stated it had acquired requests from airways for cancellation of 80 departing and as many arriving home flights throughout three days from September 8.
