IndiGo pilot assault incident: The IndiGo passenger, who hit headlines after bodily assaulting the pilot of the flight which obtained delayed for a number of hours, was seen apologising for his misbehaving with folding hands on Monday. In a video clip that surfaced on social media, the passenger is seen popping out from the aircraft and apologising with folding hands as he comes near the digital camera.

What occurred on IndiGo flight 

Delay in flights attributable to dense fog circumstances in North India is a brand new norm amid inclement climate. The delays are inflicting psychological fatigue to the passengers as they’re compelled to spend hours on the airport or on the aircraft. In a surprising incident, a passenger misplaced his cool and rushed from his seat to bodily assault the pilot of the flight whereas he was making an announcement relating to delays. The incident occurred on an IndiGo flight, and a video capturing the assault has gone viral on social media.

Legal motion in opposition to the passenger

The Delhi Police initiated authorized proceedings into the incident at Delhi airport. A passenger on a Goa-bound Indigo flight allegedly assaulted the pilot of the aircraft after a purported delay attributable to fog. The incident occurred on Sunday (January 14) at round 7 pm on flight (6E 2175) which was departing from Delhi to Goa.

In a viral video, which has gone viral on social media, the agitated passenger, later recognized as Sahil Katriya, was seen hitting the co-pilot, recognized as Anup Kumar, whereas he was saying on board about flight delays. After being assaulted, the pilot is seen stepping again as one of the air hostesses tries to manage the state of affairs.

Flights operations affected

As North India is reeling beneath fog-accompanied winter chills, a number of flights are delayed or cancelled. However, IndiGo seemed to be essentially the most adversely affected amongst all of the airways as a result of fog-induced delays, with quite a few posts on social media depicting passengers expressing frustration over the extended ready instances.
