IPL 2021: David Warner Asks the Fans, ‘How’s the New Look’

Covid-19 has impacted lives of billions round the world, and sport has been affected by it too. With IPL 2021 round the nook, the organisers face an enormous problem to maintain the match Covid free. But SRH skipper David Warner appears to be doing his bit right here. Sharing an image on social media, Warner requested “how’s the new look?”.

In the image he’s seen sporting a floppy hat, a pair of sun shades and a masks as nicely.

Meanwhile, rhe Maharashtra authorities on Monday cleared the decks for the IPL to happen in the COVID-ravaged Mumbai, permitting groups to follow after 8pm and journey to their respective lodges throughout the evening curfew that has been imposed to comprise the pandemic. Due to the large surge of COVID-19 circumstances in Mumbai and Maharashtra, the state authorities on Sunday introduced “Break the Chain”, underneath which part 144 and night-curfew from 8pm to 7am on weekdays has been imposed on total Maharashtra, together with Mumbai. The tips are to be carried out from this night. However, the state authorities has allowed the IPL groups to follow past 8pm, supplied there’s “strict adherence to bio-bubble”. The occasion begins in Chennai on April 9.

”Considering the match-timings, groups practising at the CCI and MCA are scheduled to follow in 2 classes — from 4pm to six.30pm and seven.30pm to 10pm,” wrote Srirang Gholap, Under Secretary of the Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation division, in a letter issued to the BCCI. Mumbai is scheduled to host 10 matches of the IPL at the Wankhede Stadium and 9 of them are scheduled to begin at 7.30pm. The first recreation at the Wankhede is due on April 10 between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals.
