Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings has appointed former Australian pacer Damien Wright as their bowling coach for the upcoming version of the match.

“Wright has come to the right place. Another Aussie on-board,” the official deal with of Punjab Kings tweeted.

Wright has had teaching expertise in Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh.

The 45-year-old bowler performed 123 video games in his first-class profession and he had began his profession in 1997-98 for Worcestershire, reported ESPNcricinfo.

He performed consultant cricket until 2011, together with for Australia after which he shifted his focus to teaching after retiring as a participant.

In the Big Bash League (BBL), Wright has labored with Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars.

In the IPL 2021 public sale, Punjab Kings introduced on board 9 new gamers for the upcoming season of the IPL. Punjab Kings bagged gamers like Australian tempo sensation Jhye Richardson, Australian all-rounder Riley Meredith and additional strengthen the group with 25-year-old Shahrukh Khan, Moises Henriques, and Dawid Malan.
