Team India skipper and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli on Wednesday (May 5) safely reached his home in Mumbai after the suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on account of a COVID-19 outbreak within the IPL bio-bubbles.

“The BCCI does not want to compromise on the safety of the players, support staff and the other participants involved in organising the IPL. This decision was taken keeping the safety, health and wellbeing of all the stakeholders in mind,” the assertion added.
